I Missed It

I can't believe I missed it. This little old blog celebrated it's official one year birthday on Tuesday and I missed. I say official because it's been around longer than a year but one year ago is when I took over and it officially became a "Mommy Blog".

I guess the best thing about having this blog is that I have a pretty thorough record of the last year of Linus's and our lives. It is such a good record in fact that I know that on this day one year ago, Linus got his first cold and that I was desperately trying to comprehend sleep habit books.

In many ways, I do wish I would have begun this blog before Linus was born or at least when he was born. I guess though when I think about it, I'm kind of glad I didn't because the nagging pressure to blog was not something a sleepless mother of a colicky newborn needed.

But it did begin on October 21, and I'm glad it did. Happy Blog-iversary to you, My Sweet Babboo.

Yes - Happy Blog-i-versary!

Those of us that are far away certainly appreciate your dedication to keeping us up to speed. And you will love looking back on these posts as the years go by and the memories start to fade.

My Sweet Babboo was the inspiration for The Elser 411 so thank you for that as well!

Congrats on the blogiversary! Nice job over at TM - I think I left you a comment there. I love the toddler time suck. You left out how not only does it take you exponentially longer to do each of those jobs but while you were doing that, the toddler was making a mess somewhere else that took another 20 minutes to clean up.
And the necessary item that all new parents need - a friend that loves kids but doesn't have any of their own. Preferably single and bonus is unemployed - it's best that they have nothing to do but come hold and play with your baby.
