Here at the Bartel School of Toddler Science, we have been conducting many experiments once again testing the commonly accepted laws of science. After extensive study and field observations, we would like to offer the following revisions to Newton's Laws of Motion when the toddler variable is accounted for.

Newton's Laws of Toddlers

Law #1: A body persists in a state of motion unless acted upon by a maternal force.

Law #2: Force equals mass times acceleration plus determination.

Law #3: To every action of tidiness, there is a greater and opposite reaction of destruction.


Of course, though not scientific, Murphy's Law still maintains accuracy in the realm of toddlers: "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong."
Thus leading us to conclude that Murphy was almost certainly a mother.
