There a few things taking place around the blogosphere that I want to participate in so I'm taking care of business by covering them all with this post.
First, it's World Breastfeeding Week and I have to say that I am a proud breastfeeding momma. Breastfeeding is NOT as easy as it is made out to be. Having to sit with Linus for 60 minutes every hour and a half leaving only 30 minutes to move, pee, and eat was not easy, but I'm proud I made it. I can't even remember when it got easier, it just does. So for all you Moms out there who have breastfed your baby whether for 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years. Yay you! You are an amazing mother.
Second, one of my favorite blogs, Motherhood Uncensored, is asking for all you blog readers out there to help out your favorite bloggers during this 'Not recession' by clicking through your readers and onto the actual blog site. How will this help? For those bloggers who receive revenue from advertisers, more readers equals better advertising desirability. And for those, like me, who don't have advertisers, it's always a nice confidence boost to see our Analytics go up. I always read my blogs off the actual page because it's so easy to just open them all with "Open in Tabs" through my Delicious bookmarks.
And last but not least, there are many contests going on. Here's one that may be of interest to you. It's a Rockin' Baby Sling giveaway over at Simple. You know I love my sling and encourage all new mommies to invest in one because they are so worth the money. Plus, these slings are so cool, even daddies will want to wear them.

Happy World Breast Feeding Week! I am proud of you!!
~Susan Breast-feeding mom for 9 + years!!!!
I found you through Kristin's site and before posting about it, I thought I'd go through and comment on all the blogs she listed, as well as those who left comments! So I'm in!!!
I am also a breastfeeding, blogging mama! We are approaching 17 months :)
My little guy is still nursing at almost 15 months.
I just joined the Blog the Recession. Such a great idea and fun as well. Another fun perk is finding great new blogs to frequent :)
you have to tell me about that Delicious site. So many blogs, not enough time...
My "babies" are nearly grown up now, but I'll never regret breastfeeding them. It was the best choice in so many ways.
I'm here to blog the recession and celebrate breast-feeding moms! Proud to have BFed my boys for over a year each!
