A Southern Girl

As a 2nd child, Edison didn't have to wait to *exactly* hit that six month mark before we let her have a little taste of real food. The lucky girl snagged some ripe delicious Farmers' Market peach from my hand, and I let her have it. I suppose for a baby grown on chicken biscuits (the only food that stayed down in 1st trimester), a delicious NC peach was the perfect first food. She's a southerner through and through.

I eventually broke out the mesh feeder (and the camera) when the pieces of peach remaining were too small for her to hold.

She sure looks like an eager eater. And I think she really really liked it! Sweet..

Yum! Durham Farmers Market peaches were one of Evelyn's first foods. Gideon had some ziti bolognese last night... I love second children because I just throw the rules out the window :)

Go little E! The peaches have been so good this year. She's a smart girl, that one. :)
