Day 11 - Something people seem to compliment you the most on.
This one's an easy one. It's what I get complimented on almost daily. It usually goes something like this...
(Whispered) "Oh look. Gorgeous. Just stunning. Those eyes. Wow!"
(Spoken aloud) "Excuse me. Your son is gorgeous--". (This is when I tune out.)
It's not that I don't appreciate it. I adore my son and I love when others admire him. I really don't mind playing second fiddle.
Thing is, that conversation too often ends with this...
"I just can't believe his eyes and THOSE lashes. Oh. Gorgeous. He must look like his dad."
Yep. Don't mind me, I'm just the ugly old mom.

I agree with Marty. He has your eyes! And I think you are both gorgeous.
Yep - those are Elser eyes. My little Elser has 'em too!
Yeah -- there's a bit of Adrian in him, but mostly you -- ESPECIALLY the eyes! People are just silly.
He does have insanely gorgeous eyes.
Thanks y'all. This wasn't meant to be a pity party post. Hope it didn't come out that way. It's just the truth of the matter and rather humorous actually. Don't worry, my self-esteem is fully in tact.
