Spooky! Halloween Decorating

One of the great ironies of having kids happens with holiday decorating. You finally have a little one who will truly appreciate and enjoy the festive atmosphere but you no longer have the time to get it all up. At least that's what I found with my Halloween decorating.

I did manage to get a few things up though I'm still waiting for my hubby to accomplish the two tasks on his list (spider webs on the chandelier and letters spelling out "haunted" for the frames).

Of course, knowing that my Halloween decorations amount to two Rubbermaid boxes (not all of which was used) and my Christmas decorations have their own devoted closet, I'm thinking I'll need to start decorating for Christmas in a few days.

I hear you! I decided to take the easy way out and decorate for "fall" that way it lasts me until Thanksgiving! That said, I love the pumpkins in the fire place!

Very cute! Can't say our home is very Halloween festive at this point, nor does it look like it's going to be. I put up a few fall decorations, though; I feel I get more mileage out of them since I can leave them up through Thanksgiving. The weather here feels like we skipped fall and went straight to December, anyway.

I'm sure Linus is loving all the spoooooky fun at your house!

We've put up most of our decorations outside this year. I never do halloween lights, but we found pumpkin LED lights that are darling. So, up they went!

I love your spiderweb table cloth! It's so spoooooky. :D
