Like Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

I'd like you all to meet my new friend. I call her Sunny.

Want to know why Sunny and I are such great friends? I'll tell you. It's all about the pockets. And, boy, does Sunny have pockets. You should see her pockets.

There's, of course, the standard large zippered pocket. Perfect for holding all diapering implements with room to spare.

Now, if that's all Sunny had to offer, our relationship would be short-lived, lasting only until I found someone with more pockets. I do hate digging through the endless depths of one large pocket.

But, alas, no. Sunny offers so much more. She's got a snap-and-go external side pocket perfect for keeping an iPhone in easy reach.

As well as a matching twin on the other side that's just big enough to contain the ever present sippy cup.

But, that's not all. Sunny is so much more than your average purse. She's also got stow-and-go large pouch pockets on both sides of her shiny exterior. These pockets are perfect for stashing those necessities that need always to be within reach.

How many times have you gotten to your car, toddler on one arm, while the other hand desperately searches the crumb-coated abyss of your handbag for keys? Ever spent precious minutes desperately searching for your wallet at the check-out while wrestling to maintain your hold on a would-be runner? These pockets are for you.

You can even opt to use one for on-demand toy storage because you never know when you'll need a vehicular distraction.

As an added bonus, if you treat Sunny really well, she may even throw in a few bonus pockets to store those few Mommy necessities that dare to claim space in the baby's bag.

With such functionality in one high style bag, how could you not want Sunny?

Not sold yet? Check out Sunny's friends. Maybe Tara, Coco, or Bonnie is more your style.

For such a low price, I can't believe you haven't already clicked over. Go!

[Sadly, Aldo did not pay me or even give me anything free for this post. However, if they want to, I would not say no.]

Sweet new bag!

We use a recipe that we found online after searching for popeye's red beans and rice:

4 cans pink beans (Goya)
1 lb. smoked sausage (spicy)
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/8 cup liquid smoke (I use a little less)
pinch rosemary, crushed
1 bay leaf
1 small can diced green chilis
1 medium onion

We love it :)

This is a pretty cool bag/purse! Abby, you're so cool - I'm too scared to go bold and yet that yellow is so tempting! What are the dimensions of that and can you carry it on your shoulder as well as by the handles? I'm always looking for something that I can use that's big enough for all my crap and yet small enough to not be luggage!

What a great bag - I've been looking for a new one with baby 3 on the way, so this would be perfect! Thanks for the post!

Oh dear. So much for my pledge to curb the "frivolous" spending. I'm buying one...like now! :)

Missy, Here are the measurements.

Dimensions:
18 inches from side to side
8.5 in. from bottom to top of bag
18.5 in from bottom to top of strap fully extended
5-7 in front to back thickness depending on how full it is stuffed

I can't believe they don't post that info online. That would be helpful. I saw one in the store so I knew how big it was before ordering.

I'll try to have A take a pic of me carrying it so you can get a visual idea of its size.

I cannot *wait* for springtime, and your bag just warms me right up. I love that it's a little shiny too. (So nice to have something fabulous, even if it does have diapers and wipes in it.)

Love it. It would make a lovely Valentine's gift, don't you think? In yellow, or the ivory color? Bill reads these comments, right?

I have searched long and hard for this bag passing by many in hopes of finding the perfect one. I needed function but also desired fashion. This bag was it. If you're considering it, I say go for it.

Corrie, don't wait for Bill to buy it. Just treat yourself. You'll love it.
