Community

I'm feeling a little proud of myself today. A fellow mommy blogger, Canape, is starting up a blog for moms in the Triangle Area called Triangle Mamas and she wants me to participate.

I've never really thought of myself as much of a writer. When I started this blog, it was on a suggestion from the hubby to document Linus's growth and keep family updated. However, as I started delving deeper and deeper into the Mommy Blogosphere, I found myself developing a community with people I'd never even met. I felt a kinship with moms in Chicago, Atlanta, and Tucson. Moms who were struggling with the same things I was and I found myself wanting to "hang-out" with these people more and more.

That's why I'm so excited to become an even bigger part of this community by joining Triangle Mamas. Won't you stop by?

Good for you! I know what you mean - blogging has been so important for my sanity ever since I started. It's really true that some of the people we get to know are more like real life friends, even though we haven't ever met them.
