Today I actually got to read a book, and not a parenting book either. Grandparents rock!
Oh, and I got to read my book while swinging on a porch swing on a beautiful 70 degree day. It hearkened back to my days of leisure before Linus.

Oh man, I'm jealous. Those pre-baby days are a distant memory, but this spring weather has me all nostalgic. This time last year I was on the couch every moment that I wasn't working -- relaxing, reading, watching TV, basically trying to soak up all the "me" time I could. I love my life now, but I'd pay a healthy sum to have a whole day to myself these days!

Corrie, I totally know what you mean. I love my life but do sometimes reminisce about my old life. Oh well, soon I'll be reminiscing about these days when I didn't have a toddler that I can't keep up with.
