A Bad Case of Spring Fever

It was so gorgeous outside today that we convinced Daddy to play hookie and join us for a picnic. I made bratwurst and sauerkraut, German potato salad, and lemonade for the grown-ups and spaghetti-o's*, chicken, and peas for the little man. We then headed to our favorite picnic spot to enjoy. After lunch, we wandered around for a bit until it was time to get back to the real world. Adrian commented on how lucky we are to have the ability to do such spontaneous things since he and I are both able to be home with Linus. Short of being independently wealthy, it's probably the best set-up. For more pics, see Flickr.

(Yes, Grumps, Linus got a little less girl-y sun hat. We hope you approve.)

*Not the Franco-American processed stuff. Simply o-shaped pasta with tomato paste and a little water. He (and I) thought it was pretty good.

What a great picture! I can see Richard in that face.

Will you guys have any free time when you're around these parts?
