Adventuring

With all the nearly Spring weather, Linus has been out trying and doing many new things.

Last Friday, he joined Madeline for his first wagon ride. Josh, Amy, and Madeline brought the wagon over and we enjoyed a walk to the park. We even ventured over to the dog park to see all the dogs enjoying the beautiful day.

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy decided it was a good day to have a picnic. Too bad by the time they had everything ready to go, it began raining. Determined to salvage the picnic, they headed over the Museum of Life and Science which has a covered picnic area. Even Daddy had fun playing with the acoustics as the shelter was a geodesic dome.

When the rain stopped, the family ventured over to the museum and checked out all the critters. Linus saw butterflies, farm animals, insects, and even some poisonous frogs.

Tuesday, after earning $5 for participating in another Duke infant study, Linus treated his family to some tasty LocoPops. He even got to try one out since it was pear (a fruit he's already added to his diet). Although the cold was a bit surprising, he loved it.

Lastly, Linus is beginning to figure out where Mommy goes when she leaves him playing with toys in his room. He's ready to start following her... if only he could figure this whole crawling thing out. Rolling can only get you so far before you run into a wall.
