Unobservant

I sent my husband to the store today to get more milk. It seems we are constantly out of milk. Of course, before he left I did this.

Did you see it?

Know what I'm talking about now? Or do you need another shot?

Yep, the milk jugs are by the door. Of course, that photo was taken AFTER he left for the store. The man walked RIGHT BY them and never even noticed.

I swear I live with the most unobservant and oblivious person in the world. Good thing he's so cute.

What's one quality of your significant other that irks you just a little bit? (No major venting here. Just a little thing. I promise I won't tell.)

We're both guilty of this one but I tend to get the stinky end of the stick - forgetting that we put the trash bag(s) in the back of the car to drive to the complex's dumpster. Then I get to be the one driving around all day with a car that smells like garbage until I have time (usually not until it's dark out) to go home again and dump it. Gross.

Okay, maybe I live in a bubble...but why would he take jugs to the store to buy milk? I have never in my life heard of such a thing. Well, except back in Pioneer Days I suppose...

My gripe? How he nitpicks at all the things I don't get done, but ignores his massive growing to-do-list.

Ah, the jugs. The milk we purchase comes in reusable glass jugs. The milk is sold at most of our chain grocery stores but actually comes from a farm about 20 minutes away. It's local with the convenience of regular shopping. Plus, it is the best tasting milk I've ever had... not to mention the to-die-for eggnog.

Loving these gripes. Don't men just bring us so much joy?!?

My husband likes to tease me that I say "Listen" before I start something important I need to tell him. Of course when I am done talking the first thing he says is "wait, what?"

But your red RUG! I heart your red rug!
I forgot our milk bottles this week, too. And my shopping bags. I felt like such a twit.
