Yes, everything was fine. Our detector was old and just decided to give out. No carbon monoxide detected so no worries.
Oh my goodness. I'm so glad you all are okay. That is nothing to mess with.
And BONUS! Linus got a visit from the big red truck!

Too funny, but I like the free about it! Bailey is totally into fire trucks and firemen now, too bad we have to wait until we have an emergency. I am glad you guys were okay and nothing was wrong.
