Linus has his own way of doing things. This is clearly evidenced in his personal interpretations of animal sounds. Of course, he can't say any of animal names aside from duck and kitty, but he will identify them with the appropriate noise.
Of course, I don't want to brag, but I think his pig is Oscar worthy. Even I can't make a pig sound that convincing.
