Muskrat Duck Love

This kid really loves his duck. Not only is it the one word he consistently says, I think he might have also chosen it as his "lovey" as evidenced by the fact that he pushed it around on his push cart all afternoon yesterday. If duck fell off, he would stop, locate him, and place him back on the push cart.

Duck has also been handy in playing games of hide-and-seek. While Linus is watching for my general location, I will hide duck. Then Linus will hunt until he has located him. He looks under furniture, behind pillows, and behind curtains. Upon finding duck, we all celebrate. Linus will play this game again and again.
