A Day at the Park

With the 70+ degree temperatures, it was impossible to resist heading outside. So, Linus and Mommy slathered on the sunscreen and ventured to a newly discovered, nearby park for some playtime.

Not to be left out, Daddy insisted on a return visit after he was done working. This park is phenomenal. There is a 2-story tall tower with two tunnel slides twisting downward from its turret. One of the slides actually corkscrews twice before reaching the ground. And, these were only two of the at least 10+ slides. There are rope bridges, climbing walls, towers, swings, slides, a "banister" to slide down, and KIDS. I can't even imagine how much fun this will be when Linus gets older.

The park was lots of fun but eventually we had to head home to get the little man to bed.

Hopefully, he'll sleep well after all that adventuring.

I see you're reading The Courage to Start! I was dismayed to discover that none of his books are the Lawrence Public Library. What do you think of it so far?

I'm jealous of your weather... they're predicting snow here on Saturday!

I just cracked the book last night and I'm only about five pages in. I don't have the courage to start yet, maybe that comes in chapter two?

this looks like a great playground/park! Grumps thinks it would be a fun place to play, too. Gram
